To ensure increasingly high standards and optimized production processes for our customers, we have recently integrated the Steamer 006 humidifier by Industrial Frigo into our production department. This new unit complements two other humidifiers already operating at SEF.

Why is this investment an advantage for the customer?

Technopolymers such as PA6 and PA66 are sensitive to humidity—a parameter that, if not properly controlled, can lead to instability in the quality of the finished part.
Controlling humidity is therefore essential to achieve:

• Consistent dimensional accuracy across all production batches;
  • Reduced internal stresses and post-molding deformation;
  • High reliability and repeatability, even in complex productions;
  • More elastic and tougher materials. Forced humidification conditioning allows the material’s toughness to be increased rapidly, making components suitable for immediate use.
